About James
I come from a musical and creative family . . . I started playing piano and producing music at a young age. In college, I studied different types of art: photography, painting and sculpture, all of which I loved, and I continued to make music with my brothers (occasionally on stage). Then through a connection from a classmate, I was offered a job in the wedding industry as a DJ. At this point I had only been to a few weddings in my life so I had no idea what to expect. I trained and learned fast, and after my first wedding as a host and DJ, I knew this was my calling. Getting to celebrate with couples and their families has been the ultimate blessing in my life. I consider myself lucky to have the best job in the world.

When building a dance floor, it’s obvious you want things to be fun; the whole point is to let loose, right? But how do you build a dance environment when you want all the bridal party’s family and friends – including grandma! -- on the floor at the same time? EASY! You hire a DJ who can read a crowd, and has a vast musical knowledge, spanning all genres, at his fingertips. As your DJ, I curate your playlist to flow seamlessly during the dance party, creating memorable moments for all your guests. I personally mix the music, only playing the best parts, so you and your guests can sing their hearts out. And I love working with brides and grooms in choosing the perfect playlist: whether you are a couple who hand-picks every song, or you give me only your idea of the type of music you want, I will come through with a dynamic mix, sure to keep your guests happy and dancing from start to finish. And that’s how wedding memories are made!
Master of Ceremonies
Being an “Event Host” and “DJ” is so much more than just playing music.
I treat your guests like family to create an inviting space where everyone is engaged from the beginning of the reception to the last moves on the dance floor. As the Master of Ceremonies, one of my most important responsibilities is making sure people are ready for the next item on the timeline. I keep a close eye on your vendors and your guests so that everyone is where they need to be for photos and special moments. I work hand-in-hand with your coordinator and planners so that your cherished moments are never rushed but are captured in a timely fashion for all to enjoy.
Orchestrating a wedding day is a lot like curating a music mix: there are fast parts and slow parts, and some of the best parts are those spontaneous unplanned moments that no one will ever forget! It’s my job to ensure that your beautiful wedding day happens magically from beginning to end, with memories to last a lifetime.
